The transition from supporting and working with elected Police Authorities of 12 members to supporting and working with one senior and high profile elected public figure was daunting for many. Decision making and accountability systems and procedures required significant change as did the structures of the organisation and staff needed to develop a new skill-set to match the requirements in a significant change in duties. We designed and delivered a suite of training products with offices of police and crime commissioners through England and Wales to assist in meeting the challenges.
